Dr. Constant is vice president and associate medical director of Cooper Clinic at Craig Ranch. He is also a staff physician and specializes in internal medicine and cardiology. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1965. Dr. Constant received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and did his internal medicine internship at the University of Kentucky. In 1973 he completed his internal medicine residency at the VA Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Constant completed his two-year cardiology fellowship at Dallas Methodist Hospital Cardiopulmonary Institute in 1975. He also served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, and Air National Guard as a colonel and chief flight surgeon and as the commander of the 301 Medical Squadron at Carswell A.F.B., Texas, and the 136 Tach Hospital, Hensley Field, Texas. His special medical interests include preventive cardiology and cardiovascular consultations for FAA certification. He is a senior medical examiner for the FAA.
